The Quarterly Afternoon Tea Club started as a bit of fun last year, when my husband took me for afternoon tea and surprised me with a gathering of friends. We jokingly suggested meeting regularly for afternoon tea treats, and as I am exceedingly fond of the English tradition for afternoon tea I decided to create The Quarterly Afternoon Tea Club as an excuse to have afternoon tea in wonderful places several times a year.

Forget the waistline - what could be more delightful than to sit down and indulge in scones and tea with friends?
